Write for us
We welcome pitches from writers and makers who can explain an artistic choice, process or idea with care and a clear point of view. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a finished article without an invitation.
What we welcome
Ideas may cover visual art, craft, creative processes, interpretation, artistic forms or ways of looking. We are especially interested in focused subjects that give a general reader a fresh understanding of how a work is made or encountered.
A strong pitch
Tell us the central question, what the piece would help readers notice, and why the subject suits Brilliant Arts Review. Include a brief outline, your relevant experience with the topic and any sources or examples you expect to draw on. Keep the proposal specific enough that we can see its shape.
Before sending
Pitches should be original and grounded in details that can be checked. Say clearly if the idea has been published or offered elsewhere, and flag any relationship that could affect how the subject is presented. We will consider proposals for fit, clarity and scope; sending a pitch does not guarantee publication.
